    English Breakfast tea is a blend of several black teas, mainly Keemun, Ceylon and Assam. Not all English Breakfast tea tastes the same due to the quality and amount of each tea type that is blended together. Its worth trying a few different ones to find your favourite.

    Our English Breakfast loose leaf tea is made with high quality loose leaf tea with large, long leaves that expand when they come into contact with hot water, releasing their full flavour and aroma.

    Our national drink is perfect at any time of the day and can be enjoyed black or milky, with sugar or lemon, iced, however you choose!

    What does English Breakfast Loose Leaf Tea taste like?

    Our English Breakfast is loose leaf, it tastes malty with a medium strength and brews to a beautiful deep amber colour.

    Being loose leaf, this tea will make a more flavoursome drink than teabag tea. Teabags contains chopped up tea leaves that release the flavour quickly and produce a flat cup of tea.

    Loose tea has large leaves that when left to infuse for 3-5 minutes produce a tea with all the joyous aroma and amazing flavour we love and expect from quality tea.

    How to make a pot of English Breakfast Loose Leaf Tea.

    1. Warm the pot with some hot water.
    2. Place the loose leaf tea in the teapot infuser or directly in the pot.
    3. The number of teaspoons of tea to use is decided by the size of teapot - 2cup=2tsp
    4. Pour over boiling water and leave to infuser for 3-5 minutes
    5. Remove infuser and pour into your cup.
    6. No infuser? Use a tea strainer to catch the leaves, place over your cup and pour from the pot.
