Tangy & Fruity
Our Hibiscus Loose Herbal Tea
What it is:
Hibiscus tea is made from the dried calyces (the outer parts of the flower) of the Hibiscus sabdariffa plant. When you see "whole" hibiscus, it typically means larger pieces of the flower are used — not finely chopped — which tends to brew a fuller, richer cup.
Flavour profile:
- Tart, tangy and fruity — similar to cranberry or pomegranate
- Deep ruby red infusion
- Refreshing and bold, naturally caffeine-free
Some of the benefits of Hibiscus Herbal tea:
May help lower blood pressure – widely studied and backed by some scientific evidence
High in vitamin C and antioxidants
Digestive support and mild diuretic properties
Cooling and hydrating – popular as an iced tea

How it's used:
- Often enjoyed on its own, hot or iced
- Also popular blended into fruit or berry tisanes
- Takes sweetener well to balance the tartness
