  • How long will my tea last?

We have a Best before date on all our tea of 1 year. If the tea is stored correctly then it will last for up to 2 years.

  • How do I store my tea?

Your tea can be stored in the bag it comes in, it has a resealable top to keep the tea fresh. You can also put it in a tea caddy, the caddy should not be see through as the light can deteriorate the tea quicker. A metal or ceramic container is best.

  • How much tea should use?

We recommend 1 teaspoon per serving, however as our tea is loose leaf tea you can adjust to taste.

  • How long should I wait when brewing my tea?

You should steep green tea for 2 minutes, Black tea should be brewed for 3 - 5 minutes, fruit teas and herbal teas should be brewed for 5 minutes.

  • Where does Teaspoon Tea Company get its loose leaf tea from?

Our tea comes from producers all around the world and we buy it from importers based here in the UK.  We've been doing this for a while now and know what makes a good cuppa, you can trust us to select only the very best tea and supply it to you in tip top condition.

  • How long do orders take to be delivered?

Your orders are processed in no more than two days and sent by Royal Mail tracked 24hr or 48hr depending on the service you have select. If you order after noon on Friday we will process your order on the following Monday.  Tracking information is sent via SMS or Email as long as you provide that information when ordering.

  • How much does delivery cost?

We offer two domestic postal delivery options both by the Royal Mail, Tracked 24 is £4.50 and Tracked 48 is £3.50.  We also offer a flat rate delivery service for the USA at £25.00.

  •  How do I get in contact if I have a question or problem?

  • Can I return my order if I don't like it?

If you are unhappy with your order and would like to discuss a refund or exchange please get intouch.  We won't refund or exchange tea that has been opened. If you are unsure weather or not you will like a spacific tea we do offer sample packets for you to try.

  • Do I need a customer account?

You don't need an account to buy from us. Customer accounts will let you log in to track orders, view order history, and save addresses for faster checkout.
