What is Sencha Fukujyu Loose Leaf Tea?

Sencha Fukujyu loose leaf tea is a Japanese green tea is grown on the high altitude slopes of Mount Fuji. Sencha is the finest quality Japanese tea with a sweet, milky taste and grassy aroma. After harvesting, the leaves are steamed rolled and fired into their distinctive leaf shape. 

How does Sencha Green Tea Taste?

Sencha is a light, grassy, milky tea but have very little bitterness making it a great easy drinking tea. The Japanese make this tea by steam drying the leaves before hand rubbing, this produces a fresh and fragrant brew.

Infuse for only 2 minutes and drink without adding any milk.

How to make a cup of Sencha Fukujyu Loose Tea.

  1. Place 1 teaspoon of Sencha in an infuser
  2. Place in your cup and pour over water just off the boil - once the steam has gone.
  3. Infuse for only 2 minutes
  4. Remove infuser and enjoy.
