All about Yunnan tea
Yunnan loose leaf tea comes from China's southwestern Yunnan Province, birthplace of tea cultivation. This Yunnan tea is distinguished by its beautiful golden tips and naturally sweet, malty character that sets it apart from other Chinese black teas.
Yunnan's ancient tea trees produce leaves with exceptional depth and complexity. The golden tips indicate premium quality and contribute to the tea's characteristic honey sweetness and peppery finish. A true connoisseur's choice.

Delicious and I love the aromas of nuttiness!
Here we are sat in bed with our morning tea. A ritual we enjoy since being retired. Of late the Irish tea has hit the spot but today we supped away on Yunnan. Purchased a while back waiting in the store cupboard to emerge. We were not disappointed with the strength and hint of smokiness. Have Googled Yunaan and learned more of China's region with interest. Definitely a tea to add to our repertoire.
Powerful, flinty, mineral-y, sauvignon blanc-y umami-ness and astringency which hits the tea gland like an illegal substance - bone china mug to brain in 3 seconds and makes the world right until the next hit. Temple-throbbing stuff-not that sort of temple. Not for tea wimps.
Lovely tea with a slightly woody/smoky flavour, which can be drunk without milk or sugar if not steeped for too long.Brewed the Chinese way with more tea leaves, it can be infused several times over without losing its lovely flavour.
