What is Ceylon Orange Pekoe Loose Leaf Tea?
Ceylon tea is from the island of Sri Lanka in the Indian Ocean. Uniquely it has 2 monsoon seasons, producing the best quality loose leaf tea all year round.
Orange Pekoe or OP refers to the grading of the leaves. OP - Orange Pekoe is the highest grade with the full whole leaf of the tea leaves.
What does Ceylon Tea taste like?
The loose leaves are long and wiry, once in the hot water they plump up and release their full flavour.
Our Ceylon loose leaf tea is smooth and easy to drink and is ideal if you like a tea that isn't too strong but favoursome.
We recommend this loose tea because it is low in tanin and good for drinking without milk because of its low astringency.
