All about Keemun Tea

Our No.14 Keemun loose leaf tea is a distinguished Chinese black tea from Anhui Province, renowned for its sophisticated character and subtle complexity. Keemun is often called the "Burgundy of Teas" for its wine-like smoothness and refined flavour profile.

Keemun (also spelled Qimen) is China’s most famous black tea, and once you’ve tried it you’ll understand why. It has a character all of its own — smooth and slightly winey, with a gentle fruitiness, a faint floral note, and none of the astringency you’d find in Assam or Ceylon. It brews a beautiful deep ruby colour and has a long, lingering finish.

Drink it without milk to appreciate its full complexity, brewed at slightly below boiling to keep it smooth. A tea for people who like to explore.
