All about English Breakfast Tea
Our No.1 English Breakfast is a classic British blend crafted from premium black tea leaves. Carefully selected for consistent quality and flavour, this traditional breakfast tea delivers the authentic taste that has made English Breakfast Britain's favourite morning brew.
This is the tea that gets the day started. Bright, brisk Ceylon brings a lively, golden character to the cup while malty Assam adds depth, body, and that satisfying fullness that makes you want a second one. It brews up a rich, deep amber — strong enough to take milk, smooth enough to drink without. Straightforward and exactly what a great cup of tea should be.
Brewing loose leaf means every cup is fresher than anything from a bag. Steep for 3 minutes for a lighter cup, 5 for something more robust. Lovely with milk and a splash of cold water to bring the temperature down. The high quality tea leaves in this English Breakfast tea unfurl during brewing to release a fuller flavour and aroma, producing a far better cup of tea than tea bags.

English Breakfast has been waking us up for since the late 19th century. Filling our teacups with the amber, malty tasting drink. We enjoy it throughout the day but especially at breakfast time, perfect for enjoying with our favourite breakfast cereal, toast & jam and the classic full english breakfast.
A bit pricy, but worth every penny
A bit pricey, but well worth the cost.
When brewed it tends to be light in colour - don't let that fool you - full of flavour
Gorgeous tasting tea, I enfuse using a cup infuser bought from the shop.
The leaves are like all their tea high quality large leaves, nothing like you'll see in commercial tea bags and the slight price difference in cup cost is well worth it
I drink this as preference but also as a 50:50 mix with the No. 2 Irish Breakfast on recommendation from Pamela
The wooden measure was bought from the shop in Newark and I find a measure of 1 spoon to 200 ml of water suits my tastes
A bit pricy, but worth it
Not just a breakfast tea.
First 🥇 introduced to me at the Easton Walled Garden. Just had to have more. Reminded me of the deep flavour of COOP 99 blend from the 1980's. Beautiful colour, flavour and fits neatly into my teapot or a large teabag. Perfect in every way.
